板橋榮譽國民之家 has won the 新創採購獎 from the 經濟部中小及新創企業署 for its “2025 Service Robot Field-Validation Project.” The award ceremony was held at 臺北華山文創園區, with the award presented by 經濟部 Deputy Minister 何晉滄 and received on behalf of the home by 板橋榮家 Director 陳桂美.
The project was carried out as a collaboration between Sigma Robotics and 緯創醫學科技: Sigma supplied a high-precision navigation robot for nighttime ward rounds, equipped with 緯創醫學’s millimeter-wave radar sensing technology, to complete vital-sign measurement without turning on lights, without contact, and without disturbing residents’ sleep.
For a startup less than a year old, having its very first validation site be an 800-bed large-scale care facility — and then being recognized by a central government agency through the lens of “startup procurement” — speaks for itself. This path of “government field validation → procurement deployment” is one we intend to keep walking.
Also recognized in the same round was the “AI Contactless, High-Privacy Smart Care System” developed by 花蓮榮家 in collaboration with 緯創醫學.
